The course General Administration aims to train students in the management and direction of human talent in a company. It is therefore a course with theoretical-practical design, which teaches human talent management strategy and the necessary functions for personnel management in a company.

The course corresponds to the Faculty of Business Administration and Services and is theoretical and practical in nature. This course aims to provide students with the tools and basic knowledge of international trade, and also get them to understand the benefits and opportunities that have been generated around trade and economic integration.

Advertising and Creativity (MKCP)

Advertising and Creativity: This is an introductory class to the world of the brand, marketing communications and advertising, as seen and lived through the advertising agency. Based on a clear understanding of what a brand is and how communications build a relationship between people and the brand, we enter into the world of advertising and ad agencies, where students will gain understanding of the market and what are the main areas of an agency: account management, brand planning and creativity. We will review the most important global creative awards such as Cannes Lions. An analysis of advertising campaigns will be required throughout the course. At the end students will be coached to create a big idea of an advertising campaign.

ASSESSMENT OF COMPANIES (FZVE)

This course is aimed to provide the students with the necessary tools to be able to estimate the cost of capital as well as to implement different valuation methods as DCFF, APV and some alternative valuation methods based upon multiples and comparables. It will also address how firm value creation could be achieved through financial decisions (e.g., capital structure, dividend policies) and working capital management

CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY

 

4 credits

5th year /10th  cycle

This course tries to integrate the environmental and social issues, called by Prof George: “Grand Challenges” in to the strategy of the firm. We will study how firms are developing resources and capabilities to tackle climate change and social issue, how the development of such types of R&C produce competitive advantage to firms and what type of new business models are arising because of the social pressure to firms to tackle grand challenges. During the course we will study theoretical frameworks and business examples (cases), especially from an emerging economy point of view. Students must have curse undergraduate economic, finance and strategy courses. During the whole semester we will try to answer the following questions: Does becoming green and social responsible pays to the firm? What drives firms to become more “sustainable”? What means[1] corporate sustainability? How this field have emerged in management? Are these issues are gaining legitimacy or is only a fashion? Must business and managers must tackle these challenges?
