Undergraduate students enrolled at a university that has signed the exchange agreement with UDEP can study one or two academic semesters at any of the university campuses. International exchange students must be nominated by their home university through the international office and do not pay tuition fees at UDEP.
Prospective international students must apply like regular students through entrance examinations offered by the University throughout the year as well as attend program workshops.
The children of diplomats or international civil servants have the benefit of being exempt from entrance examinations and are able to advance to the following stages: evaluation of academic record and personal interview.
The applicant must prove his/her diplomatic status with a certificate issued by an accredited institution.
In both cases, it is essential to validate home school grades at the Ministry of Education of Peru. This applies to all Peruvian universities.
The International Free Movers Program gives foreign students from non-partner universities the opportunity to do part-time undergraduate studies. With these studies, students can attain official certifications for the recognition of the subjects studied. Academic degrees and professional qualifications cannot be obtained through these studies in Peru.
