Presentation

The UTPL was founded by the Ecuadorian Marist Association in 1971. Its educational model translates into teaching, research and extension, which converge in “productive management.” It is intended that students learn to think and be by doing real projects in society, through the different academic-productive units. UTPL has two modalities: face-to-face and distance learning, being a pioneer in distance education. It has around 5,000 in-person students and 32,000 distance students. The UTPL has 25 Centers in Ecuador and 3 International Centers: New York, Rome, Madrid. Loja, with around 200,000 inhabitants, enjoys a spring climate almost all year round and is the main urban, historical and cultural center of the southern region.

Postal Address: San Cayetano Alto, Central Building, 2nd floor, Loja, Ecuador.
