Presentation
Diego Portales University was founded in 1982, as a non-profit private law foundation. The UDP has 10 faculties, 34 careers and more than 15,000 students, distributed over 100,000 m2 built. All faculties are located in the center of the city of Santiago, near the Los Héroes, República and Toesca Metro stations. The only exception is the Faculty of Economics and Business, which is located in Huechuraba, 40 minutes from the center of Santiago.
The UDP is accredited for 5 years until 2018, in the areas of institutional management, undergraduate teaching, links with the environment and research. It also has 21 accredited courses.
