The Miguel Hernández University (UMH) is a public university, open to the world, that offers quality teaching and research, internationalization, as well as the promotion of comprehensive training for our students, in order to achieve a better job perspective. This university has a strong research profile recognized nationally and internationally and related to its socioeconomic environment. The UMH is confirmed as an academic institution committed to quality, which has renewed the European Seal of Excellence GOLD level for the third time, being the only Spanish University that has achieved it on 3 occasions. According to the study carried out by the IUNE Observatory (Research Activity at the Spanish University), the UMH is in third position in terms of annual scientific production per professor and number of six-year terms obtained. It has 4 campuses: Elche, Sant Joan d'Alacant, Orihuela and Altea.
