  1. The owner of this database in which the personal data provided through the video surveillance system is stored is the University of Piura identified with RUC N° 20172627421 and with address at Av. Ramon Múgica N° 131 Urb. San Eduardo (Sector El Chipe ) of the department, province and district of Piura.
  1. The existence of this personal data bank has been declared to the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data.
  1. The user is informed that any processing of personal data complies with the provisions of current legislation in Peru on the matter (Law No. 29733 and its regulations).
  1. The University processes your personal data for the following purposes:

To ensure the safety of users.

For prevention and research purposes:

– Before the commission of a crime or disciplinary offense.

– In the event of an accident that affects any of the users.

– In the event of a work violation or accident.

– When any situation is identified that implies damage or harm to the property and assets of the University and/or third parties within the aforementioned premises.

To manage processes and/or procedures that the University administers and implements, including the exercise of the rights of the owner of personal data.

To comply with the requirements of consumer protection regulations.

To comply with the requirements made by public entities within the scope of their powers.

For statistical, historical and research purposes.

  1. Personal data will not be transmitted to third parties, except under legal obligation; and, they will be kept for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days, except for the exceptions provided for in the regulations on the matter.
  1. As the owner of their personal data, the user has the right to access their data in the possession of the University; know the characteristics of your treatment; request that they be deleted or canceled when considering them unnecessary for the purposes previously stated or oppose their treatment if applicable.
  1. The user may direct their request to exercise their rights to the following address: Calle Mártir José Olaya 162, Miraflores, Lima; Calle Aldebarán 160, Surco, Lima or Av. Ramón Múgica 131, Urb. San Eduardo, Piura; or to the following email address: datapersonalesudep@udep.edu.pe.
  1. In order to exercise the aforementioned rights, the user must submit, at the address previously specified, the respective request in the terms established by the Regulation of Law No. 29733 (including: name of the owner of the personal data and address or other means to receive a response; documents that prove your identity or legal representation; clear and precise description of the data with respect to which you seek to exercise your rights and other elements or documents that facilitate the location of the data).
  1. If the user considers that they have not been assisted in the exercise of their rights, they can file a claim with the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, addressing the Parties Table of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights: Calle Scipion Llona 350, Miraflores, Lima Peru.
  1. The University will be responsible for the personal data bank and the personal data contained therein. In order to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of personal data or confidential information provided by personal data holders, the University has adopted the legally required levels of security and protection of personal data, and has installed all the means and technical measures at its disposal.
